Headphones Repair
お客様のご依頼でヘッドホンのリペアを行いました。
大事にされているドイツ製のULTRASONE EDITION8。
すでにメーカーの保証修理も終わっているとの事…
頭の部分にくるヘッドバンドの
クッション材と革がへたりお困りでした。
持ち込まれたヘッドホンを分解し、
中のクッション材と芯材を新たな物に
交換し革巻きを行いました。
オリジナルとは違う革、異なる縫製でお直ししましたが、
大変気に入って頂けました。
I carried out a repair on a pair of headphones
at the customer’s request.
These were a cherished pair of German-made
ULTRASONE EDITION8 headphones.
I were told that the manufacturer’s warranty had expired…
The customer was troubled by the fact that the
cushioning and leather on the headband
—the part that rests on the head—had become worn out.
I dismantled the headphones,
replaced the internal cushioning and core material
with new components, and reupholstered them with leather.
Although I used a different type of leather and
a different stitching method to the original,
the customer was very pleased with the result.
