Horween Meeting in Tokyo


先日のこと、都内でアメリカから
ホーウィン社の方が来られるので
ミーティングに来ないかとお誘いを受け
某所へ行ってきました。


ホーウィンの革は私もその風合いが好きで
何度も仕入れて色々作ってきました。


当日はホーウィンの方から
新作も含め商品の説明を受けたり
私も色々と革に関する
質問をさせて頂きました。


その後は皆さんとご一緒させて頂き
居酒屋へ・・・


皆さんとてもフレンドリーで
楽しいひと時を過ごさせて頂きました。

The other day, we had a meeting in Tokyo
from the U.S.A. to come to Tokyo
I was invited to come to a meeting with them.
I went to a certain place.


I like the texture of Horween leather.
I have purchased many times 
and made many kinds of products.


On the day of the meeting, a person from Horween
explained about their products including new items and
I also asked many questions about leather.
I also had a chance to ask questions about leather.


After that, I went to a pub with everyone
to a pub...


Everyone was very friendly
I had a good time with them.

My tools / Jewelers Torch


長年使っている私の彫金用トーチ。

不具合があったので修理に出していて先日戻ってきた…

やはり長年使っている物は愛着があるし安心します。

これからもずっと愛用していきたい...



My jewelers torch that I have been
using for many years.

It had a glitch, so I sent it in for repair, 
and it came back the other day...

After all, I feel attached to things that I have used for
many years and I feel safe with them.

I will continue to use it for many years to come.

[New] Silver Tag Pendant / BOTTLE OPENER


ビンテージのBottle Opener (栓抜き)をモチーフ
にしたペンダントが出来ました。

こちらはシルバープレートから
一つ一つ糸鋸で切り出してお作りします。

長めのボールチェーンに通してDogtagの
イメージで着けたら如何でしょうか。

ご希望で英数字刻印でネーム、数字等お入れ出来ます。

a silver plate with a thread saw.

[NEW] Silver Tag Pendant / LUMBER GAUGES


ビンテージのLUMBER GAUGEをモチーフに
シルバーでペンダントを作りました。

ランバーゲージは製材された木材のサイズを
計測するゲージで実物には数値が細かく刻まれています。


当時のLumbermen達はこれを携帯して
山に入っていたと想像します…


このペンダント、一つ一つ銀版から糸鋸で
切り出して仕上げています。
型取りではないのでソリッドで硬い銀の質感です。


長めのボールチェーンに通して、
Dogtagの雰囲気で着けて頂けたらと思います。

[NEW] Silver Tag Pendant / LUMBER GAUGES I made a silver pendant with a motif of vintage LUMBER GAUGE This pendant is made of silver. A lumber gauge is a gauge used to measure the size of lumber. The lumbermen of that time carried these gauges with them.
I imagine that Lumbermen of that time carried 
this with them into the mountains.... This pendant is cut out one by one from a silver plate and finished by thread sawing. It is not a mold, so it has a solid and hard silver texture. Threaded on a long ball chain, I hope you can wear it with Dogtag atmosphere. It has been uploaded to the webstore. Please take a look if you like it.
