日頃お世話になっている方からの依頼で
お作りましたウエストポーチ。
スマホや財布等を入れて
ベルト通しでお使いとの事。
シンプルな作りですが、
作っていて色々気づきがありました。
これからの季節、この様な小物入れは重宝します。
新しい革の小物入れ、考え中です。
I made this waist bag at the request of someone
who has always been very kind to me.
I’m told it’s designed to hold items such as a mobile phone
and a wallet, and to be worn through the belt loops.
Although the design is simple,
I realised a number of things whilst making it.
This sort of small bag will come in very handy in the coming season.
I’m currently thinking about designing a new leather accessory bag.

お客様のご依頼でヘッドホンのリペアを行いました。
大事にされているドイツ製のULTRASONE EDITION8。
すでにメーカーの保証修理も終わっているとの事…
頭の部分にくるヘッドバンドの
クッション材と革がへたりお困りでした。
持ち込まれたヘッドホンを分解し、
中のクッション材と芯材を新たな物に
交換し革巻きを行いました。
オリジナルとは違う革、異なる縫製でお直ししましたが、
大変気に入って頂けました。
I carried out a repair on a pair of headphones
at the customer’s request.
These were a cherished pair of German-made
ULTRASONE EDITION8 headphones.
I were told that the manufacturer’s warranty had expired…
The customer was troubled by the fact that the
cushioning and leather on the headband
—the part that rests on the head—had become worn out.
I dismantled the headphones,
replaced the internal cushioning and core material
with new components, and reupholstered them with leather.
Although I used a different type of leather and
a different stitching method to the original,
the customer was very pleased with the result.

7~8年程前にお作りした２つ折りのウォレット。
修理、手直しの為帰って来ました。
縫い糸を解き、必要な箇所は新たな革に交換し
再度形に組み上げました。
これでまた長い事お使い頂けそうです。
私が作った物は末長く使って頂きたいとの想いのもと、
いつでも責任を持ってお直し•メンテナンスしています。
A bifold wallet I made around seven or eight years ago.
It has come back to me for repair and refurbishment.
I unpicked the stitching, replaced the leather
where necessary, and reassembled it to restore its original shape.
It should now be ready to serve you well for many years to come.
Driven by my desire for the items
I create to be enjoyed for a long time,
I am always happy to take responsibility for
their repair and maintenance.

再リリースに向けて、
新たな1stサンプルが出来たのでお伺いしました。
細かい箇所までお互いに話し合い、
前回の物を超える作り込み、
一品になりそうな予感…

This is a collaborative shoulder bag
I created with SURE SHOT back in 2014—12 years ago
—specifically designed for motorcyclists.
With a re-release on the cards,
I’ve just completed the first prototype and popped
round to take a look.
We’ve discussed every last detail together,
and with craftsmanship that surpasses
the previous version,
I have a feeling this is set to be a one-of-a-kind piece…
Look forward to this rugged, no-nonsense,
one-of-a-kind bag.
