何度も試しながらサイズ出しを決めて、

その数値を元に切り出していきます。

New Model / GI Narrow Belt

 

Belt end silver cap

今回の新型ベルトでは新しい試みとして今まで作って

いなかった形状のシルバーパーツを作り、

ベルトの剣先先端に取り付けてみたいと思います。

まずは材料となるシルバーの板をローラーを

使い希望の厚みに伸ばします。

For this new belt, I would like to make a new silver part, 

which I have not made so far, and attach it to 

the tip of the end of the belt as a new attempt.

First, a silver plate is stretched to 

the desired thickness using a roller.

磨き上げたバックルを裁断した一枚革のベルトに

手縫いで取り付けていきます。

Polished buckle is hand-sewn onto cut 

single-piece leather belts.

時間を掛けながら漸く理想の形になって来た 

シルバーのバックル。

 

細かい鑢、バフを使い最後の磨きの工程となります。

 

The ideal shape was finally achieved after much time.

The final polishing process is done with a fine rasp and buff.

Making new silver buckle…

銀の板を糸鋸で切り出し、ヤスリやリューターを用い

理想のシルエットを目指します。

バックルに付くピンもその後

トーチを使い鑞付けしていきます。

The silver plate is cut out with a hand saw, 

then filed and rutted to achieve the ideal silhouette. 

The pins for the buckles are then soldering with a torch.
