Making new leather belts…

今回製作している新型レザーベルトは

ベルト幅を2cmと細めにしました。

色はナチュラルブラウンとブラック。

共にアメリカホーウィン社の革となります。

The new leather belt I’m producing this time

has a narrower belt width of 2 cm (0.79inch).

The colors are natural brown and black.

Both of them are made by 

Horween leather company in USA.

Looking for vintage atomosphere…

半分朽ちかけていたビンテージのシート。

使える所はそのままに、

駄目な所は新たに作り直してリペアしました。

70〜80年前に作られたと思うのですが、

当時の職人に時間を超えて

出逢えた様な感覚になりました…

自分も自分が作った物が同じ様に時間を

超えて残り続けたら本当、

最高な事だなと改めて思いました。

A half-decayed vintage seat.

The usable parts were left as they were,

and the parts that were no longer

usable were newly remade and repaired.

I think it was made 70 to 80 years ago,

and I felt as if I had met the craftsman of 

that time beyond time...

I thought once again that it would be great

if I could see my own work remaining

beyond time in the same way.
